This Leagues of Votann collection will all be painted in the bright orange scheme of the Trans-Hyperian Alliance. This is only part of a much larger collection, and it’s the characters.

While I’m not one to shy away from very large projects painted in one batch, sometimes it makes more sense to break it down in smaller parts. Buri is a good example… it is so unique, you don’t save much time batching it with other models.

The backbone Leagues of Votann characters are the Kahls. This includes three, plus the epic hero Uthar the Destined.

The other quintessential League of Votann character are the Einhyr champion, ne of them being the limited release Ancestor’s Wrath. Big dwarf in a big armor charging headfirst into battle… it doesn’t get much better than this.

The second wave of Votann releases had a bunch of awesome support characters. The Arkanyst, totting a massive experimental gun, and the Memnyr Strategist, doing its best Mr Burns impression.

Thee Grimnyr have me torn. On one hand, I’m not the biggest believer in an army of dwarves having wizards, but on the other, they are freaking cool miniatures and I am a sucker for the rule of cool.

Brokhyr Iron-Masters are the engineers of the Leagues of Votann. The dwarf mechanic goes to war with its own little unit of assistant and cogs.
