One of my first big Warhammer40,000 project was the siege of Vraks, the Forge World Campaign. Inquisitor Hector Rex is part of this campaign, and has such as a place in my own collection.

This model was an eBay rescue type of deal. I found Hector and his retinue for a very good price, but the painting was rough.

I liked the green armor and dark gold trim, all that was needed was some touching up and some extra contrast on them. I also redid the sword for something that would pop, and changed the base to have something I could replicate on, say, a pile of Kriegsmen, in the future.
Of course Hector Rex would not be a proper inquisitor without his henchmen. They received a similar treatment as the main character, punching up the colors, adding some blue-ish turquoise to pop, and swapping out the bases.
