Need more Dark Angels in your life? Of course you do! This project has a little bit of all three aspects of the Dark Angels, the ravenwing, the deathwing and the greenwing.

This is a very common type of project in the shop. Not a single pricy hero, not a full army, just a couple of squad to expand on an army when real life gets in the way of your painting. Since I myself don’t have a life, I’ll take on this project for you!

Of course we start with the Deathwing tank, because it’s my favorite. I like Dark Angels armies that have their tank transporting Deathwing units to be painted in a Deathwing scheme. This is a level of commitment not all armies can showcase. Please note that I got this model built like this, and apparently glued strongly enough to withstand a nuclear apocalypse, so the gap is permanent.

You’ll notice the colors match across all three components of the force: Same green, beige, black and turquoise. This client also specifically ask for no red, so the parts that were traditionally painted red were instead painted in a dark Burgundy. As with a lot of projects that go with existing armies, the bases are purposefully left bare so they can be made to match exactly by the owner.

Much like the no red clause, there was also a no gold clause. The all silver on Ravenwing has a really cold feel to it, which I like more than I originally Thought I would.
