The why the best part any Space Wolves commission is the characters. Space vikings with sagas written about them and pet dire wolves… I mean come on! And this project just that: Ragnar, Arjac, and Logan.

Since this was to add to an existing army, the bases were left bare so that they are made to truly match. The scheme for this army is that the higher the rank, the darker the armor.

Arjac was the firts one I did because he is much closer to a regular model than the other two. It allowed me to make sure I got a scheme that I liked and that matched the rest of the force.

Ragnar and Logan are much more intricate, with a lot of the emphasis on the model being their pelt cloaks. It’s also a challenge on Logan to make sure all three wolves, the two live ones and the cloak, are slightly different but do fit together.
