Stumbled on these pictures of a Space Hulk board game set I painted when the game was re-released around 2012.

I remember the terminators were really prized at the time because terminators were somewhat good at the game and the sculpts from Space Hulk were amazing. Also, as you can see, my passion for bright green is not a new thing.

The genestealer models also had great, if less practical, sculpts. The ones climbing the walls are personal favorites of mine.

One thing I remember about this project is that I followed a tutorial on painting blue horrors to get the main technique for the genestealers, and since I was really please with the result, I followed a tutorial by the same artist about painting pink horrors to paint the heads.

My biggest takeaway from this is that I got slightly better at taking pictures of models. Talk about potato cam!
