A fun project I got to work on, Big E, by Major Minis. The emperor in a custom paint scheme, with a bunch of head and weapon options, all magnetized.

This project came with a very specific color scheme request, based on a sketch. Basically a silver armored Emperor, blue accents, and with a galaxy cloak. I did make a few modification from the sketch that I think suited the model better, but tried to keep the main elements there.

Since the mini comes with several head and arm options, the client wanted to all magnetized. Only after doing all the magnet work did I realize there was only one left arm option.

My favorite combo is the screaming face and either sword option. Austere and serene Emperor is classic and safety first “I’m wearing a helmet” good guy is fine all, but “Oh shit Daddy’s angry Emperor” is a whole vibe.

I know the model comes from Major Minis, but I can’t seem to find it on their website. Maybe it was some sort of exclusive or no longer in production. If anyone knows, do let me know where to find it.
