Tigurius Showcase

Ultramarines are not for everyone, but I dig the poster boys in blue and any excuse to paint one is a good one. This time, it’s Chief Librarian Tigurius, in all its primaris space marines glory.

This was a quick model painted for a friend. I went with a bold and bright blue for the armor, instead of the more classic muted blue.

I really like the contrast of red cloaks on blue armor… maybe I don’t really like Ultramarines, I just like an excuse to paint red robes.

Most important thing with characters is to have a color that pops and accents the model. In this case, I went with my favorite, bright green, for the eyes, staff and hand. What’s the point of being a space wizard if you don’t have a glowing hand, amirite?!
