The Phobos range is one of my favorite from the Space Marines. This Lieutenant model is no exception, despite being both a lieutenant and an Ultramarine, if you catch my drift.

Unlike my own studio army, this Ultramarine is painted in the more bold blue color scheme of recent times. This bold and bright scheme I find very interesting on Phobos marines, that are supposed to be somewhat stealthy.

I’m not the biggest fan of the little wings on the backpack. The look doesn’t bother me as much as the added fragility. I paint mostly with gaming in mind, and I am a clumsy gamer at that, so anything that can break is in serious danger.
