A Parasite of Mortrex painted back when it was originally released. This one is painted in a quick Behemoth Hive Fleet scheme.

The base has seen better days, but I really like the color scheme. It’s obvious that it is Tyranid goo, even if the color is different than the parasite’s scheme.

This model is very interesting from a painting point of view, as there are really only two surfaces: the skin and the shell. Of course, if you want, you can add some more colors in things like the claws or the wing membranes. But it does not look incomplete, even with only this dual scheme.
