Abaddon is such an epic hero, you don’t need to do much to make it look amazing. Don’t let that stop you from adding a bright lava base and make it even more epic!

Besides the base that was changed to a Lava version instead of the ruined imperial base it normally comes with, this Abaddon is very much painted in the classic color scheme.

Red is one of my favorite colors to paint, and it creates such a bold contrast with the black scheme of Black Legion.

This model is perfect to lead an army to battle (leading by hiding in a brick of terminators, probably) and will be a great centerpiece in any force he’s in. Of course, you could kick this paint job up a notch by going all in on the details, but this one is done to be a gaming piece.
