No, I will not apologize for that title, thanks for asking. What I will do however, is show you this Death Korps of Krieg bust!

I don’t recall why I painted this piece, but I do remember seeing this piece and immediately asking my friend to print me one. I guess you don’t always need a reason to paint fancy models. Art for art’s sake and all that jazz.

I’m not super into military and historical pieces, so this was a nice break in the stuff I usually do. Trying to keep the balance between classic Games Workshop art and realistic looking military is a fun challenge. That said, when combining the two, Imperial Guard is where it’s at.

My only takeaway, besides how cool Death Korps of Krieg are, is that busts are really fun to paint, and easier than I originally expected. If you have never tried, I highly suggest you do.
